4.2
Function
The product and the interstitial space of the double-walled tank are connec-
ted by a pipe.
If additional containers are used, these are also connected to the interstitial
space by means of suitable hoses.
The interstitial space, the pipe and the product are filled with an approved
(according to the German "Bundesanstalt für Materialprüfung" BAM - Federal
Institute for Material Testing) leak detection fluid up to the level mark on the
Plexiglas cylinder.
The interstitial space is not tight (alarm condition) if the liquid level in the
Plexiglas cylinder keeps falling or has reached the bottom visible minimum
(bottom of the Plexiglas cylinder).
