• Never set the appliance up on a hot plate!
• Caution! Do not cover up the appliance!
• The appliance must not be operated without content.
• During operation, both the appliance as well as the accessories are heated. Risk
of burns!
• Note that when you open the lid, hot clouds of steam escape from the appliance.
Keep your face and other parts of your body away.
• Keep the lid closed during use.
• Make sure that the appliance is not operated below wall cupboards/shelves or
similar, which could be damaged by the escaping moist/hot air.
• Never transport or reposition the appliance while it is in operation! Risk of
burns!
• The appliance and its accessories must be used together only. Do not use the ac-
cessories in the oven, in the microwave or in conjunction with other devices.
• Never try to remove the base from the steam vessel.
• Make sure that the coating of the steam vessel is not damaged, e.g. by sharp or
pointed objects; in the event of such damage, do not continue to use the steam
vessel.
• Handle the appliance with all necessary caution. Regularly check the vessel for
possible damage. In the event of damage, such as cracks in the vessel, do not
continue to use it. Before cleaning, always disconnect the power plug from the
power socket and allow the appliance to cool completely.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience and/or knowl-
edge, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety
or from whom they have received instructions on how to use the appliance.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Ensure that the appliance does not get into the hands of children unnoticed!
• Children do not recognize the dangers that can arise when handling electric
appliances. Always keep children away from the appliance. When using the ap-
pliance, please pay particular attention when there are children in the vicinity!
• Keep packaging materials such as plastic bags and polystyrene parts out of reach
of children. Risk of suffocation!
