4. Basic preparations and maintenance
4.1 Function tests

Clamp in the saw blade and test the micro-Line saggital saw with a
suitable drive unit (e.g., flexible shaft).
¾
Cautiously saw into a block of wood.
¾
Check the micro-Line saggital saw for atypical running noises that
might be a sign of defective bearings, gear wheels or connections.
¾
Check the micro-Line saggital saw for excessive heat-up.
The temperature must not exceed 41 °C after 30 seconds of running.
4.2 Maintenance
To ensure reliable operation, Aesculap recommends servicing the product
every 2 years (depending on frequency of use).
