5. Gather the (8) 4-40 cowl mounting bolts and
(8) #6 small rubber backed washers.

Mount the cowl using the cowl mounting bolts
and rubber backed washers. The rubber
backed washers are to prevent the fiberglass
cowl from cracking and keep bolts from
coming loose from normal engine vibration.
7. Gather the (4) 4-40 hatch mounting bolts and
(4) #6 small rubber backed washers.
Note:
It is highly recommended you apply thin CA
glue to the front hold down dowels. This is a High
vibration area and can loosen the front dowels.
Always check the front dowels are secure before
each flying session

Slide the rubber backed washers on the hatch
mounting bolts and insert bolts through the
hatch mounting holes and into the fuse blind
nuts. Tighten snugly but do not over tighten
and crush the hatch or the fuse sides.
