3.2. Auxiliary Encoder Input [-EB1]
The Auxiliary Encoder connector gives you a second encoder input channel. This channel is typically used
for dual loop applications.
The Auxiliary Encoder input supports square wave encoder types by default and sine wave encoder
types with the -MX3 option. Use the AuxiliaryFeedbackType [A3200: PositionFeedbackType or
VelocityFeedbackType] parameter to configure the encoder signal type.
You can configure the Auxiliary Encoder input as an output that will transmit encoder signals for external
use. Use the EncoderDivider parameter to configure the Sine ± and Cosine ± connector pins as RS-422
outputs.

Invalid or missing signals will cause the XC2e to generate a feedback fault when the axis is enabled. Use
twisted-pair wiring for the highest performance and noise immunity.
