Fuel consumption during cruise flight is dependent on various factors. The most important one is the
engine power setting. The higher the engine RPM is set during cruise, the higher the fuel consumption.
When planning a flight, always consider these and other factors such as wind direction and speed or
expected weather en route. Always plan for sufficient fuel reserve when arriving at the destination. Always
