From the rear insert carbon tube 14 in fuselage and through motor mount. The
carbon tube is used to align the 4 parts that form the rear end of the fuselage.
Slightly bevel gluing surfaces of parts 8 (2 mm balsa) and glue to fuselage,
resting opposite end of parts 8 on carbon tube.
Do not glue to carbon tube, just secure to carbon tube with
tape until glue has dried.
21
Slightly bevel contact surfaces of rear side panels 9 (3 mm
balsa) and glue in place. Note that hole for wing dowel faces
up. Secure to fuselage and tube with tape.
22
When glue has dried, remove tube from fuselage and sand fuselage to a smooth finish, rounding off rear end of fuselage and
lower fuselage edges. Sand contact surfaces for front fuselage cover, secure fuselage cover 21 in place with tape and round off
the edges.
23
Round off contours of empennage parts and bevel front edges of rudder and elevator for
sufficient control throw. Then cover fuselage and empennage with the covering material of your
choice.
Mark centre line on stabilizer 19, remove a 4 mm wide strip of covering material and glue
carbon tube 14 to stabilizer with epoxy. Support opposite end of carbon tube with 4 mm scrap
wood.
