Commissioning and Maintenance
The following maintenance steps must be carried out:
• Clean and check evaporator/condenser as described at „Maintenance of heater section
(LPHW)“ on page 66.
• Make sure that all refrigeration components in direct evaporators (refrigerating machine,
direct evaporator, distribution manifold, refrigerant lines, etc.) are working efficiently.

In doing so, be sure to observe the safety information on page 24 and page 25.
The following must be checked during commissioning:
The warm air flow (exhaust air) must be at the bottom and the cold air flow (fresh air) must
be at the top.

SHARP EDGES! OBSERVE PERSONAL PROTECTION MEASURES.
In doing so, be sure to observe the safety information on page 24 and page 25.
The following maintenance steps must be carried out:
• Clean heat transfer fins regularly:
– by blowing out the fins using compressed air against the direction of the air flow or
– by spraying the fins using low pressure water only!
• Clean condensate tray and condensate drain.
• Check siphon, top up as necessary.
• If a heat pipe with bypass is used, the air control and shut-off dampers must be checked
in accordance with the maintenance instructions (also see „Maintenance of dampers
and shut-off dampers“ on page 47).
