Commissioning and Maintenance
The following maintenance steps must be carried out:
• Check for tightness and for possible contamination on the air side.
• If there is a risk of frost, also check the safety devices regularly, or take appropriate
precautionary measures such as draining the equipment or adding antifreeze.
• Check that pipe connections and mountings are secure.
• Clean air side as necessary (blow through heat exchanger using compressed air or low
pressure water).
• Check that the steam inlet and condensate outlet are functioning correctly.
• Bleed.
• Check closed-loop control functions as necessary.

In doing so, be sure to observe the safety information on page 24.
• The heater coil may only be switched on if the minimum volume of air required for
operation of the heater coil is flowing through it.
• Make sure that the fan runs on for at least 3 minutes once the heater coil has been
switched off.
