Support panels or any oversized workpiece to minimize the risk of
wheel pinching and kickback. Large workpieces tend to sag under
their own weight. Supports must be placed under the workpiece near
the line of cut and near the edge of the workpiece on both sides of the
wheel.
Keeping rip fence parallel to the saw blade.
MOVE the rip fence out of the way when cross-cutting.
Keep the floor area free of loose material e.g. chips and cut-offs.
Replace the table insert when worn
Adjust the riving knife as described in this instruction manual. Incorrect
spacing, positioning and alignment can make the riving knife ineffec-
tive in preventing kickback.
The handle lock must always be engaged when transporting the
circular table saw.
Do not use the top protective cover as a handle for transportation!
Before transporting the machine, make sure that the top protective
guard covers the top section of the saw blade.
In spite of compliance with all relevant design regulations, dangers may
still present themselves when the machine is operated, e.g.
- workpiece parts being thrown off,
- parts of damaged tools being thrown off,
- noise emissions,
- wood dust emissions.
