5 Shut-Down,
Dis-Assembly
Shutdown and dis-assembly of the system may be performed for the reason of venue
change or for disposal purposes.
5.1 Safety
Notes
The following 5 safety rules must be complied with prior to the beginning of all work
performed to the Unit:
Attention High Voltage!
Safety rules for work performed to electrical facilities:
1. Disconnect equipment from the mains (establish a voltage free status)
2. Securing against re-activation
3. Determine voltage free status by measurement
4. Earthen and short-circuit equipment
5. Cover or establish borders towards neighbouring parts under voltage
5.2 Electric
Terminals
For dis-assembly, perform the following steps:
1. Separate the system from the voltage supply 230V~.
2. Separate the system from the load / lamps.
3. Optionally separate other connections, e.g. automation system.
Electrical connections are thus dis-assembled.
5.3 Separation
Now, the system can be completely removed by dis-assembly from the mounting board.
5.4 Disposal
5.4.1 Legal
Regulations
The disposal of the system must be performed in accordance with the valid regulations of the
host country as deployed.
5.4.2 Type of Disposal
Disposal must be performed in accordance with local legal laws.
Accumulators or batteries (timer) have to be disposed of separately, if applicable. They have
to be provided for recycling, as far as possible.
