SLEEP (29/37)
With the device switched on this sets the period in 10-
minute steps from 90 to 10 minutes after which the device
switches to standby. Press the button repeatedly until the
required duration is shown in the display. With this func-
tion activated the word
SLEEP
appears in the display.
The device switches off automatically after the set time.
In order to call up the remaining time press the
SLEEP
button. This time can also be subsequently shortened or
switched off again (00 Min).
RANDOM (50)
Press the
II
button (10/46) or the RANDOM button to
play back the audio CD or the MP3-CD.
Press the RANDOM button 1 x:
the display (6) contains the word RANDOM and the track
number that is to be played fi rst. All tracks are played
back in random order. Press the
!

tons (9/38/47) to see the randomly selected order.
Press the RANDOM button 2 x:
all functions are cancelled. The normal play mode is
resumed.
Note: Some keys are to be found both on the device
itself and on the remote control. Keys with the same
designation have the same function.
Programmed Playback
This permits programming of any desired order of tracks.
1. Press
Stop.
2. Press the PROG/MEM button (12/40). The symbol
„P01“ (memory location), the track number (00) and
the word MEMORY appear in the display. In MP3 for-
mat the number of the fi le (00) fl ashes, while the track
number (000), the word MEMORY and the memory
storage number P-01 are shown.

lect the desired track and then press the PROG/MEM
button again. The display changes to storage location
P02. In MP3 mode the desired folder can be selected
fi rst. If you press the PROG/MEM button again the
track number can be selected.

buttons to choose the
next track and press the PROG/MEM button again.
Repeat this process until you have selected all tracks.
5. Press

II
button. Playback now begins. The word
MEMORY lights up. With this button you can also
briefl y interrupt the programme.
6. When

buttons (9/38/47) are
pressed the selected order is shown.
7. Press once the
Stop key (11/48) to stop the
playback while retaining the program. The MEMORY
control lamp goes out.
8. To resume the playback of the program press fi rst the
PROG/MEM key once and then the
II
key.
9. The device stops automatically once the entire se-
quence of programmed tracks is completed.
10. To delete the program (in stop mode) fi rst press the
PROG/MEM button and then the
Stop button.
11. The programmed order remains stored in the memory
until the CD is removed from the CD compartment or
the device is switched off.
It is also possible to combine the programmed tracks with
the REPEAT function. After you have programmed and
started the device, please press the REPEAT button (13/
41) up to fourth times and then you can use the functions
as described under „REPEAT“.
Playing back Music in MP3 Format
With this device it is possible to play back pieces of music
in MP3 format. The device also supports all standard
CD types: CD, CD-RW, CD-R. The active ESP function
always appears in the display (memory 40 seconds); see
item ”ESP”.
This machine of is able to play MP3 CDs. Up to 200
tracks can be compressed and stored on these CDs. Your
machine detects an MP3 CD automatically (The total
number of tracks appears in the display). If you would like
to play one of these CDs, proceed as described under
„Playing CDs“. Tracks can be programmed as described
under „Playing Back Programmed Tracks“.
Note: Due to differences in the quality of CDs and
CD blanks, as well as the large number of different
software writing programs and the non-compliance
with fi xed standards by the music industry (copy
protection), there may be problems with the playback
of CDs. This is not a malfunction of the device.
Cleaning and Maintenance

Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the
machine.
•
Any marks on the surface can be wiped off with a
slightly damp cloth without any additives.
This device has been tested according to all relevant cur-
rent CE guidelines, such as electromagnetic compatibility
and low voltage directives, and has been constructed in
accordance with the latest safety regulations.

Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by a
24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase
(receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or
its accessories *) ascribable to material or manufacturing
defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at
our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do
not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do
they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of
purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement
or repair will be carried out.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please
return the
entire
machine in the
original packaging
to
your dealer together with the receipt.
*) Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free
replacement of the whole machine. In such cases please
contact our hotline. Broken glass or breakage of plastic
parts are always subject to a charge.
