Microwave and Convection cooking

☞

This oven offers a choice of 2 microwave and Convection settings and allows you to combine the
advantages of the speed and convenience of Microwave with the browning and crisping benefits
of a convection oven.

Convection with Microwave 450W (touch the power setting button twice)

Convection with Microwave 150W (touch the power setting button three times)

Example: Set Dual Cooking using Convection150o C with Micro 150W for 25 minutes:

Press Pause/Clear

2.

 

Press the Micro Bake button . 180°C, appears in the display for approximately 2 seconds. You
can view the temperature again by pressing the Micro Bake button.

3.

 

Set the desired temperature by turning the setting  control knob either clockwise or
anti-clockwise.  After 2 seconds the Display will show “. 0” You may now input the desired
cooking time.

4.

 

Set the desired programme time with the selector knob.

5.

 

Press the power setting button 3 times. The display will now show 150W

6.

 

Press the START button. The cooktime will start to count down.

Convection temperature can be changed at any time by:-·

Press the Micro Bake button.

•

 

Turn the setting control knob to the desired temperature.

At the end of the cooking time, the oven will automatically stop. The cooling fan and oven light
will still  be on until the turntable has returned to its original position.

When the oven has switched off completely, 3 soft audible bell sounds will be heard and the grill
symbol will flash. At this stage, it is not possible to enter any further programmes. To enter
another programme  you will have to press the stop/clear button.

When the cooking time has expired, if there is no action taken, 2 soft tones will be heard every
30  seconds for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, three soft tones will be heard, and the window
display will revert  to the time of day.

During the convection and microwave operation, it is possible to adjust the length of cooking
time  required by turning the Setting Control Knob clockwise or anti-clockwise to increase or
decrease the  remaining time in the display in steps of approximately 30 sec’s. It is not possible
add the grill function.

Microwave power can be changed between 450W, 150W and 0 W by touching the Power button.

When cooking with Convection and Microwave the Microwave oven does not have a preheat
stage.
