• Use the arrow keys to select the next/previous

parameter.

SALINITY COMPENSATION FACTOR
• Select the “SALt” item and press CAL. The salin-

ity factor will start blinking.

• Use the arrow keys to change the value.
• Press CFM to save the modified value or CAL to

escape without saving.

Salinity affects the DO concentration, decreasing its
value. The table on next page shows the maximum
oxygen solubility at various temperatures and salinity
levels.

Note: The relationship between salinity and chlorinity

for sea water is given by the equation:
