PWS-1409/1419  User’s  Manual

    3-5 Installing The Backplane

Make sure that at no time you are working on any electrical or electronic components while any

part of the system is energized.  Always disc onnect the power! Use caution to protect the

delic ate elec tronic c omponents. Ground your self during the installation of the motherboard

and other c omponents.

 3-5-1 Installing the Standoffs

#9 Standoffs

#2 3x4 sc rews to tighten backplane

#4 Washer between the backplane and screws

Take a moment to study the inside of the chassis, making note of the location of the keyboard

Connector if it come with backplane.

Step 1.

Slant the backplane retention into the chas sis and position it in the area it will be

installed, making s ure the alignment of the slots and connectors is c orrect.

Step 2.

Make sure the  location of the backplane mounting points. You are going to install

standoffs at those mounting points.
