7.1 Introduction
This chapter provides a description of the functions located in the POC-WP242 front
bezel.
7.1.1 Front Bezel Button Layout
Button Description
Combination Button
The backlight off option is a unique function. Press both the reduce brightness and
increase brightness buttons simultaneously for half second to power on/off the LCD
backlight. Turning the backlight off does not impact the operation of any program, the
POC-WP242 system remains in operation. This backlight off function is particularly
useful in hospital environments. For example, if an operator needs to review an X-
ray, they can turn off the backlight to ensure a dark room environment. The backlight
can also be turned off at night to avoid interfering with patients’ sleep.
Power button
Press this button to power the system on/off. When the
system is on, this icon will emit a green light. When the
system is off, the LED will also be off.
Reduce volume
Press this button to reduce the speaker and headphone
volume

Increase Volume
Press this button to increase the speaker and headphone
volume
.
Touch disable
Press this button to disable/enable touch function. When
touch function is enabled, this icon will emit a green light.
When touch function is disabled, the LED will be off.
Read light
Press this button to enable/disable the reading light.
Reduce brightness
Press this button to reduce the LCD backlight brightness

Increase brightness
Press this button to increase the LCD backlight bright-
ness
