If one of the following situations occurs, have the equipment checked by service
personnel:
The power cord or plug is damaged.
Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
The equipment is malfunctioning, or does not operate according to the user
manual.
The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.

Disconnect the equipment from all power outlets before cleaning. Use only a
damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid or spray detergents. Protect the
equipment from humidity.

Place the equipment on a reliable surface during installation. Dropping or letting
the equipment fall may cause damage. For pluggable equipment, the power out-
let socket must be located near the equipment and easily accessible.

Ensure the power source voltage is correct before connecting the equipment to
a power outlet. Position the power cord away from high-traffic areas. Do not
place anything over the power cord. If unused for a long time, disconnect the
equipment from all power sources to avoid damage from transient over voltage.

If the computer’s internal clock is consistently inaccurate or the BIOS configura-
tion settings have been reset to their default, the battery is lacking power.
Caution!
To avoid short-circuiting and damaging the device, do not allow fluids to
contact the device. If fluids are accidentally spilled on the equipment,
remove the affected unit from service as soon as possible and contact
service personnel to verify that user safety is not compromised.
Caution!
To prevent overheating, do not cover the openings nor store the device
in direct sunlight or near radiant heaters.
Caution!
Do not store the equipment in an uncontrolled environment where the
temperature fluctuates below -20 °C (-4 °F) or above 60 °C (140 °F).
This may damage the equipment.
Caution!
Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. Contact a qualified tech-
nician for assistance.
The computer is provided with a battery-powered real-time clock circuit.
Batteries are at risk of exploding if incorrectly replaced. Replace only
with the same or equivalent type as recommended by the manufacturer.
Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Caution!
A battery charging indicator is not included with this device. Instead, it
should be added to the device during assembly to complete the entire
system.
