onnecting

Peripherals

ferent devices implement the RS-232/422/485 standards in different ways. If you are
having problems with a serial device, please be sure to check the pin assignments for
the connector.

2.6

External Keyboard and Mouse Connector 
(KBMS1)

A 6-pin header on the motherboard is for an optional PS/2 keyboard/mouse cable.
This gives system integrators greater flexibility in designing their systems.

Note!

An optional PS/2 keyboard/mouse cable (P/N: 1700019268-11) and its 
bracket (P/N: 1960063434N000) must be assembled together and 
installed on the chassis rear PCI slot. Therefore, one expansion slot of 
the motherboard cannot be used.
