3.2.1 Uploading and Downloading Procedure
To upload and download PC-NeT field configuration files to an AX-PENN (ST7) module:
1. Attach your PC (personal computer) to the USB port of the AX-PENN (ST7) and
open the PC-NeT field configuration programming.
2. Press the COMMISION button. The LED next to the COMMISION button will
illuminate.
3. Establish PC communications with the AX-PENN (/ST7) and utilize the transfer
configuration data from PC to panel or from panel to PC.
4. When uploading/downloading is complete exit the commissioning mode by
pressing the COMMISION button, the COMMISION LED will extinguish.
3.2.2 Firmware Updating Procedure
To update AX-PENN (/ST7) firmware:
1. Attach your PC (personal computer) to the USB port of the AX-PENN (ST7) and
open the Advanced Flasher Program.
2. Press and hold the PROGRAM button.
3. Press the REBOOT button, the associated PROGRAM LED will illuminate.
4. Release the PROGRAM button.
5. Establish PC communications with the AX-PENN (/ST7) utilizing the flasher
program and re-flash the AX-PENN (/ST7).
6. Upon completion, press the REBOOT button.
