3.1.4 Peripheral Bus Programming

The Peripheral Bus programming area of the AX-PENN is where the user adds and programs the AX-PENN
associated peripheral bus (PBUS) modules.

3.2 Uploading, Downloading and Firmware Flashing

There are three (3) buttons and two (2) LEDs associated with the AX-PENN (/ST7) PCB
(printed circuit board) for use in uploading, downloading and flashing an AX-PENN (/ST7)
module. These buttons and LEDs are REBOOT, PROGRAM with associated LED and
COMMISION (commission) with associated LED.

The COMMISION button is utilized for uploading and downloading PC-NeT field
configuration programs, while the REBOOT and PROGRAM buttons are used for flashing
the AX-PENN (ST7) module.
