2.2 Transmitter’s
functions
Instrument
T060E
is
a
weight
transmitter
with
potential
threshold
relay
management
function.
Therefore,
it
is
not
a
traditional
weighing
instrument,
since
Gross,
Net
and
Tare
management
functions
are
not
available.
Only
ZERO
corrections
can
be
executed
(through
external
inputs)
with
the
purpose
to
recover
zero
derivatives
or
deviations
relative
to
the
weighing
system.
The
onboard
relays
are
managed
as
alarm
relays,
therefore
they
are
always
kept
energized
and
are
de
‐
energized
in
case
of
alarm.
2.2.1
Management of the calibration
T060E
foresees
the
set
‐
up
of
a
theoretical
calibration.
However,
the
operator
can
execute
potential
corrections
during
the
calibration
phase.
The
advantage
of
this
type
of
set
‐
up
lies
in
the
fact
that
the
system
carries
out
an
automatic
calibration,
by
knowing
the
cells’
characteristics.
The
system
is
not
valid
in
case
of
load
cells
not
supporting
directly
the
entire
weight
applied
to
the
system
(e.g.
in
case
of
a
weighing
pin
applied
to
a
resultant
of
a
return
system).
In
this
case,
the
operator
must
set
the
weight
value
used
at
the
end
of
the
measurement
chain.
For
example,
in
case
of
a
weighing
pin
applied
to
the
fixed
component
of
a
lifting
system,
the
operator
must
set
the
value
actually
lifted
by
the
bridge
crane;
for
example,
in
case
of
pin
weighing
1
ton
and
the
capacity
of
the
bridge
crane
consisting
of
300
tons.
In
this
case,
the
signal
will
be
set
according
to
the
pin’s
data
sheet
and
the
capacity
will
be
set
to
300
(corresponding
to
300
tons
of
the
system's
capacity),
while
the
sensitivity
will
be
set
according
to
the
accuracies
identified
in
the
application
of
the
system
(for
example,
if
it
weights
200
kg,
the
sensitivity
must
be
set
to
0.2).
The
resolution
(division
value)
is
set
to
the
result
of
the
60000
divisions.
Higher
set
‐
ups
are
discarded
by
the
system.
The
system’s
resolution
is
given
by
the
ratio
between
capacity
and
resolution.
A
system
with
a
100
Kg
cell
and
a
resolution
of
0.01
is
a
system
consisting
of
10000
divisions.
