4.4 Configuration of HSLink

Configuration of HSLink 8R16DI module ISaGRAF driver’s properties
In order to add HSLink R8DI16 module ISaGRAF driver to the ISaGRAF
project, user has to follow the procedures below:
1. On the I/O Connection
Editor, choose a empty slot, double click this slot,
then Select Board/Equipment Dialog Box will appear. User must selects
the “Equipments” radio button, then select the HSL-R8DI16 item.
2. After selecting the HSL-R8DI16 item, the I/O Connection
Editor will
appear as below. Since HSLink R8DI16 module ISaGRAF driver and
card can provide 16 DI and 8 DO channels, now user has to do is to
assign the project variables to these channels. In order to detect the
module’s communication status. User can find the ErrStatu board. In
this board, it provide 3 digial input channels. The first DI channel is to
detect 1 time communication error of this module. The second DI
channel is to detect 3 times communication error of this module. The
third DI channel is to detect 7 times communication error of this module.
