Installing the speaker in hole
Once the speaker cable connections are made, lift the speaker into the hole in the wall, and push it against the wall so it fits
flush. Use a drill or screwdriver to tighten the mounting screws on the speaker’s front baffle. If you use a drill, select a lower
torque setting. Tighten the screws just enough so that the dogear clamps firmly against the wall and nothing rattles when
all the screws are tightened and you tap a couple of fingers firmly against the speaker’s front baffle.
Aiming the Tweeter
The IWLCR56 and IWLCR66 use a pivoting tweeter that can be pointed toward the listening area. To move the tweeter,
press lightly on the edge. Be careful not to touch the tweeter dome. Point the tweeter toward the primary listening seat.
Installing the Grille
Position the grille so it fits completely over the speaker, then press it against the speaker until the speaker’s integral
magnets grab hold of it.
Removing the Speaker
If you need to remove the speaker, first remove the grille off by pulling on one edge of the grille until it comes loose, then
gently pulling the rest of the grille out. Now loosen the mounting screws until the dogears behind the speaker are all loose,
then pull the speaker free of the wall.
