7. Enter the desired new IP settings of the sign in the appropriate fields.
8. To change the communication ports, double click the port to be changed in the “Port List” window. A window will appear to
configure the port. Make the desired changes to the port and click OK .
9. When all the necessary changes to the IP settings have been made, click the Write button. The sign will reboot
automatically for the new IP settings to take effect. The sign will not respond to any requests until the reboot is complete.
PORT LIST
List of ports used for NTCIP communications by the sign

Control – Designator indicating whether the port is considered to be central or
local.These designators are important when a local/remote switch is utilized by a
sign. If a port is designated to be local, communications over the port will be read
only as long as the local/remote switch is in the remote position. If a port is
designated to be central, communications over the port will be read only as long as
the local/remote switch is in the local position.Read only communications allow
statuses and settings to be read, but settings changes and message activations
are not allowed.
• Type – Indicates the port type
- TCP and UDP
• Number – Indicates the port number used for communication
ADD
Add a port for communication.
REMOVE
Remove a port for communication.
READ
Read the Ethernet settings from the sign.
WRITE
Write the changed Ethernet parameters to the sign. Any settings made on the Ethernet
tab will not be made until the “Write” button is clicked. When the “Write” button is
clicked the settings will be sent to the sign and a reboot will occur.
