APC Module LEDs
Each APC module has two LEDs, which are visible from the rear of
the Storage Enclosure, as shown in
Figure 3-3 :

Green Amber Status Indicated
Off Off No drive present.
On Off Drive present.
Slow blink Off Drive spinning down.
Fast blink Off Drive being identified, or drive
has spun down.
Off Fast blink Drive failed.

When Drive Carrier LED 2 is illuminated or blinking, LED 2 on the front panel of
the Storage Enclosure is also illuminated, indicating a shelf fault. (See
Table 3-1 on
page 3-3 .)
