Configuration Guide

6.1.2

Configuring Snapserver Expansion S50 Solutions

The following steps can be used as guidance for configuring a SnapServer Expansion S50 for SnapServer 600-Series solutions.

Step 1

Select and Configure SnapServer Expansion S50

Step 1a

If adding Expansion, add a SnapServer SAS HBA for 620 SATA systems (included with SnapServer 620, 1.2TB SAS systems)

Step 1b

If additional Gigabit Ethernet ports are desired, add a dual port NIC

NOTE:

requires GuardianOS 5.2 or later, the ports available on the additional NIC cannot participate in Ethernet teaming

Select Expansion Units (Up to 7 Snap Expansion Units per 600 Series Scalable SnapServer System)
