Setting Controller Task Priority

You can set the priority level for all tasks running on the controller to
either increase or decrease the speed at which the tasks are
completed. Tasks, such as the array creation or build functions,
typically run in the background so that they can be performed on
the controller and be transparent to the computer, allowing for
normal system operation.
