BACKLIGHT OPERATION
The backlight may be enabled or disabled by the user. If the backlight is disabled the battery
life will be maximised, when in operation the battery life will depend on usage.
To set the backlight:
Press the
[Setup]
key to bring up the setup menu, then use the digits
[1]
or
[6]
to scroll
through until
“BK”
is displayed.
Press the
[tare]
key to select.
The price to pay display will provide options for
“on”
,
“off”
or
“auto”.
Press the
[Tare]
↵
key to select the preferred mode.
Backlight operation
When the backlight is set to automatic control it will only turn on when the scale is being used,
when there is weight on the platform or when a key is pressed.
It will turn off automatically after a few seconds when the weight is zero or after a while, the
last key was pressed.
