Action

tec USB/Ethernet DSL Modem User Manual

Modem Features

The Modem has a series of

LED

s (lights) and a variety of ports. It is recommended

that the user become familiar with these features before installing or setting up the
Modem.

Front Panel

There are 4

LEDs

(light emitting diodes, or lights) on the front panel of the

Modem.

Power LED

The Power LED glows green when power is supplied to the Modem. When it
flashes, the Modem is going through its initialization process.

Ready LED

The Modem

LED

glows green when the Modem is connected to the Internet.

When it flashes, the Modem is synchronizing the connection.

Link LED

The Link

LED

glows solid green when the Modem is connected to a computer

via Ethernet or USB cable.

Activity LED

The Activity

LED

flashes when information is moving between the computer to

which the Modem is connected and the Internet.
