11. Explanation of advanced settings (part 2)

Adaptation to the frequency of local electricity.
To prevent flickering in artificial light recordings.
The default setting for Europe is 50Hz, for the US 60Hz.
Starts the connection mode with a new, first-time used
remote control (optional). After startingt, press both
buttons on the remote control for 3 seconds.
Turns the WiFi connection on and off. It can also be
activated and deactivated by pressing button
➋ for two
seconds
Defines the name of the camera WiFi.
Defines the password of the camera WiFi. Standard
password is 12345678.
Formats the inserted memory card.
ATTENTION! All stored data will be lost!
Rests all settings to factory default values.
Shows current firmware version.
Using the built-in WiFi feature lets you control the X7neo on a smartphone. To
activate the WiFi function, press button
➋ for two seconds when the camera is on.
On your smartphone, select the WiFi named „X7neo_xxxxxx“ and connect to it. The
default password is 12345678.
Now you can start the ACTIONPRO X7neo App and control the camera. To find the
App you need, please visit our website www.actionpro.de and choose the
„Service" menu entry.
Please be aware that using the WiFi function reduces the battery running time!
12. Smartphone control
NOTE: Always switch off the camera, before you plug or unplug the USB
cable.
Connect the camera to your PC via the supplied USB cable and switch it on.
On your PC, the camera memory card will now be recognized as a separate
storage medium. In AMBA directory you will find subfolders for the stored videos
and photos.
Before you turn the camera off and disconnect, you should eject the correspon-
ding removable disk on the PC.
Alternatively, you can remove the memory card from your camera and access
the data via a card reader on your PC.
