The time recorder does not accept the time card:
Power failure or disconnected power cord when the battery is
not charged.
The time card sensor malfunctions. Please contact the dealer
from whom you purchased the time recorder.
A long "beep" is heard without printing:
The card was inserted backwards. Try inserting the card the
other way round. If the time recorder does not return to normal,
please contact the dealer.
The printing position is wrong:
The pay period ending date, etc. was set incorrectly. Please
check to make sure all settings are correct.
Light printing:
The ribbon is worn out. Please replace the ribbon cassette.
The ribbon cassette is not installed correctly; please install it
again.
Printed time does not agree with the clock displayed time:
Disconnect the power and plug the clock back in. If the digital
display reads EC0, the movement has malfunctioned. Please
contact the dealer.
The time recorder does not maintain correct time:
Unplug the clock. Press the RESET button located near the
center on the back of the time recorder for five seconds or
longer. If it does not work, please contact the dealer.

EC0: Clock movement error
EC1: Motor error (across the card motion)
EC2: Motor error (up/down motion)
EC3: Time card detector sensor error
