8.5 Power Requirements
8.6 Environmental Considerations
Operating Temperature:
-40°C to 75°C
1
1
Measured as Ambient Air Temperature. 300LFM minimum air-flow required. Designed to
meet this temperature specification.
Note:
Temperature rating is exclusive of mSATA module(s). Commercial grade
mSATA modules are normally rated 0°C to 70°C.
Relative Humidity:
5% to 95% Non-condensing (designed to comply)
Storage Temperature:
-55°
C to 100° C (designed to comply)
Shock, Operating:
30g peak acceleration, 11ms duration half sine shock in all
three axes in accordance with MIL-STD-810, Method 516, Procedure I.
Vibration, Operating:
Class V2 plug-in unit in accordance with MIL-STD-810,
Method 514, Procedure I, one hour per axis.
•
5Hz to 100Hz, PSD increasing at 3 dB/octave
•
100Hz to 1000Hz, PSD = 0.04 g2/Hz
•
1000Hz to 2000Hz, PSD decreasing at 6 dB/octave
EMC Directives:
The XVME-9640 RTM complies with EMC Directive
2014/30/EU with the exception of DVI.
•
Immunity per EN 61000-6-2:
Electrostatic Discharge Immunity (ESD), per IEC 61000-4-2, Level 2.
Radiated Field Immunity (RFI), per IEC 61000-4-3, Class A.
Electrical Fast Transient Immunity (EFT), per IEC 61000-4-4, Class A.
Surge Immunity, per IEC 61000-4-5, Class A.
Conducted RF Immunity (CRFI), per IEC 61000-4-6, Class A.
•
Emissions per EN 61000-6-4:
Enclosure Port, per CISPR 16-2-3, Class A.
Low Voltage AC Mains Port, per CISPR 16-2-3, Class A.
Note:
This is a Class A product with the exception of DVI.
The power used by the XVME-9640 board without any mSATA modules
installed is negligible.
mSATA power draws from the ava3.3V on the XVME-6700A. The
power is fused on the XVME-6700A by a 2A slow blow fuse. Care should be
taken to not exceed 2A.
Note:
+1.5V is NOT available, but usage of this voltage on mSATA modules is
not widespread.
