A1.5 Operation of BravoFIL PLUS
BravoFIL PLUS is a filter equipped with a double action cleaning system (br backwashing
of the filter cartridge with filtered water).During the operating phase, the water enters the filter and
passes through the filter cartridge, from the outside to the inside and comes out filtered. To clean
the filter, just rotate the upper knob: while five brushes scrape the surface of the cartridge, the
incoming water is diverted to a secondary filter and sprayed on the internal surface of the cartridge
(backwash). The automatic opening of the drain valve ensures the removal of the impurities removed
during the backwash. The cleaning brushes of BravoFIL PLUS are equipped with silver inserts that
counteract bacterial proliferation on the filter element. The BravoFIL PLUS filter is equipped with a
360° rotating plate (with 90° steps) that facilitates its installation both horizontally and vertically.
However, it is necessary to respect the water inlet and outlet arrows stamped on the attachment
plate. The pressure reducer is housed on the rear connection plate. It is factory calibrated at an outlet
pressure of 3 bars, but can be changed to any value between 1 and 6 bars just by turning the
adjustment screw. The graduated scale positioned on the upper part of the adjustment knob allows
you to view the value set for the outlet pressure.
A1.6 Characteristics of the water to be treated
BravoFIL PLUS has been designed and manufactured for the treatment of drinking water.
Attention!
Make sure that the plumbing system is hygienically safe and does not present
any risk of bacterial proliferation (i.e., presence of dead branches, etc...).
Attention!
The filters are not designed to filter closed circuit water, process and waste
water, water containing large amounts of sand or coarse bodies > 2 mm in size, silt or
chemicals (oils, solvents, acids, bases, glycols).
For applications other than those expressly described in this manual, it is necessary to contact Acqua

installation. The manufacturer guarantees that in the face of inlet water complying with the
parameters of the drinking water, the equipment returns water still within the parameters.
