5.12. Power Supply and Battery Charger

The ACD52832 provides a Texas Instruments BQ24072RGTR Li-Ion and Li-Po charging
controller with integrated USB – battery power change over functionality. This function
will automatically change the power supply of the board from USB to battery if the USB
connection is lost. The maximum charging current is set to 500 mA to ensure USB
compliance.

 

The actual battery voltage can be measured though the AIN0 pin of the

nRF52832 controller. The maximum measurable voltage is 2.1V.
