5.5. IR-Emitter

To enable communication with IR controlled devices (i.e. televisions or receivers), the
ACD52832 is equipped with a 940 nm high power, high speed, side emitting GaAlAs IR
LED.

 

By the use of a discrete output stage, the LED can be driven with high power,

enabling it to reach high distances with ease.

 

It can be driven, when selected through

jumper block P6, directly by the DIG2 pin of the nRF52832.
