Chapter 3

General Information

Before You Begin

Before proceeding with the disassembly procedure, make sure that you do the following:

Turn off the power to the system and all peripherals.

Unplug the AC adapter and all power and signal cables from the system.

Remove the battery pack.

NOTE:

TravelMate C210 series product uses tape to fasten the antenna/cable, you may need to tear the tape

before you remove the antenna.

NOTE:

The disassembly is based on an engineering sample, therefore, the number of the screws and the

color of the system may differ from a finish-good unit.
