Pre-troubleshooting procedure

If you encounter any problem, ensure first that the system has the 
latest BIOS version.  In addition to the BIOS, also update any drivers 
used for components that you have installed in the system, such as 
video drivers, network drivers, and storage drivers.

Resetting the system       

Before going through in-depth troubleshooting, attempt first to reset 
the system using one of the methods below. 

Perform

Purpose

Soft boot 
reset

To clear the system memory and reload 
the operating system.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del

Cold boot 
reset

To clear the system memory, restart 
POST, and reload the operating system. 
This will halt power to all peripherals.
