Apply V.A.C. VeraFlo Cleanse™ Dressing and V.A.C.
®
Advanced Drape to wound as described
in the previous sections.
2.
Carefully cut a
3 cm
hole in the V.A.C.
®
Advanced Drape (not a slit) as described in the
V.A.C. VeraT.R.A.C.™ Pad Application
section (

Cut V.A.C.
®
Advanced Drape in half (
Fig. 40

4.
Apply additional V.A.C.
®
Advanced Drape over intact skin where the bridge will be applied
(

). Ensure that the draped area will be larger than the foam bridge.

Cut an appropriately sized piece of V.A.C. VeraFlo™ Dressing for the bridge (

CAUTION:
Bridge length should be as short as possible to ensure efficient fluid flow.
