14.3 Connections and operation of the device

A headset can be connected, also with optional additional power supply for active microphones, via the
robust plug-in connection (1).
In order to switch on the device, press the button (2) on the membrane keyboard until the LED (3) beneath it
shows an orange light. You can then release the button.
In order to switch off the device, press the button (2) on the membrane keyboard until the LED (2) beneath it
is no longer lit. You can then release the button.
14.4 Emergency supply
If the battery needs to be changed whilst the device is switched on, it continues to receive power for 10
seconds via the emergency power supply. The removal of the battery is detected and a notification is issued
to the operating system. This notification can be used by the applications to save important data that may not
be lost.
The emergency supply can be used once the device has been switched on for at least 30 minutes.

Cleaning and maintenance information
Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth.
When cleaning the docking station, the power plug must be disconnected beforehand.
ATTENTION
Do not use any corrosive chemicals, cleaning solutions or strong
cleaning agents in order to clean the device.
