Make sure the code number on the meter
display matches the code number on the
test strip container.

Lance the side of the fingertip.

Using gentle pressure, massage the finger

towards the fingertip to encourage a drop
of blood to form. A proper but nevertheless
small drop of blood (approx. 0.6 µL) must
form.

Immediately after the drop of blood has

formed, touch the drop to the front edge
of the yellow window of the test strip (do
not put blood on top of the test strip).
