Chapter 5: Testing Blood Glucose in Multiple
Patients

Only healthcare professionals are allowed to perform blood glucose tests in a multiple-patient
testing facility.

When using the meter always follow the recognised procedures for handling objects that are
potentially contaminated with human material.

Practice the health and safety policy of your laboratory or institution. Also, to prevent
contamination of your meter, please follow the directions printed here.
