MULTI Parameters in the EDIT menu

SINGLE SELECT

Activates a SINGLE PROGRAM for the current PART.

PART TRANSPOSE

Transposes the PART in semitone steps.

PART DETUNE

Fine-tunes the PART.

PART VOLUME

Controls the volume level of the PART. In addition to PATCH VOLUME (in the EDIT menu, see
appropriate section) and MIDI Volume (Controller 7), PART VOLUME is the third option for determining
the volume level of a PART within a MULTI program. Please keep in mind that PART VOLUME is a
bipolar parameter: In the negative half of the control range (-64 to 0) the signal level is controlled in the
normal fashion - i.e. the sound fades out as negative numbers increase; from the center value upwards
(0 to +63), extremely low-level signals are amplified. When you set values greater than 0 for sounds that
are already fairly loud, you may hear undesirable digital distortion.
In SINGLE MODE, PART VOLUME does not appear in the menu; in this case the value is automatically
set to 0.

PANORAMA OFF/ -63 to 127

Lets you dial in a basic setting for MIDI Controller 10 (MIDI Panorama). If you enter a value between 1
and 127, this value is valid after you call up a MULTI PROGRAM until the first Controller 10 event is
received on the given channel. If you set PANORAMA to OFF, the basic setting for Controller 10 is
determined by the last received Controller 10 value prior to a program change so that the PANORAMA
value remains intact after a program change.
