The PARAMETER buttons provide access to the parameters in the EDIT, CTRL and local menus. Simply
press the corresponding button to scroll through the parameters in the desired direction. If you press and
hold a PARAMETER button and simultaneously press the other PARAMETER button, the menu scrolls
through groups in the direction of the button you are holding down so that you can comfortably select
from all oscillator-related parameters and all filter-related parameters. After you have scrolled through a
functional group, select the desired parameter by pressing the button repeatedly rather than holding it
down.
The VALUE +/- buttons let you change the value of a parameter in steps. When you hold one of these
buttons down, the value changes automatically and the longer you hold the button, the faster the pace of
the value change. You can increase this pace even further by pressing and holding one VALUE button and
simultaneously pressing the other VALUE button. If you press and release both VALUE buttons
simultaneously, the parameter value is set to 0. This pertains to unipolar parameters (value range of 0 to
127) as well as bipolar parameters (value range of -64 to +63).
You can also use the VALUE knob to change the value of the selected parameter. The VALUE knob
responds to the KNOB MODE settings as described in the paragraph above.
The buttons located in the diverse sections on the control panel that are bordered off (OSCILLATORS,
FILTERS, etc.) have different functions. Some of these buttons activate the feature indicated by the label,
e.g. SYNC and ENV MODE. Others are used to select different options indicated by LEDs, e.g. FILTER
ROUTING and (LFO)SHAPE. And a third type of buttons opens the local menus that we mentioned
earlier.
In the local menus, the corresponding LEDs illuminate continually once you have dialed in a value other
than 0.
Display of Numeric Parameter Values
Numeric parameters which are accessed via the CTRL, EDIT or local menus and are controlled via the
VALUE buttons and knob rather than by a dedicated knob appear in the display in numeric form. This
number indicates the current value. If KNOB MODE in the CTRL menu is set to SNAP, then an arrow
symbol appears to the right of the number. It indicates in which direction the VALUE knob must be
turned to exceed the current parameter value.
