The device uses low-power radio signals to communicate with the Z-Wave controller. To achieve the
best results, please note the following:
The device has a radio range of up to 40 m.
Due to its design, the device is only suitable for flush mounting.
If there are problems with the radio range, the antenna should be led out of the flush-mounted
box.
The cabling is carried out according to the following diagram:
Please observe the safety instructions:
The installation of the device is a work on the mains voltage. It must therefore be
carried out by a specialist in accordance with the usual installation regulations and
connection conditions in the country concerned.
Ensure that the circuit is protected by a 16 amp circuit breaker or a suitable equivalent
fuse.
If you are not yet familiar with the installation and operation of the device, for your own
safety it is essential that you read the complete operating instructions first.
During installation, the electrical cable to be connected must be free of voltage. The
first thing to do is to switch off the current at the fuse box and check that there is no
voltage with a voltage tester.
After the cabling is completed, the power can be switched on again.
