DISK FULL
As opposed to an analogue tape recorder, the digital recorder has no tape to rewind when it is full. The
digital recorder has a so-called FIFO (first in first out) memory. The oldest data is overwritten by new data, so
that the latest events (depending on the memory capacity) are always present on the hard disk. .
HDD SIZE / HDD USED
Confirm this menu item with Enter (5) to open another submenu.
This shows information about hard disks used in the system.
HDD SIZE: The size of the hard disks used in the recorder.
HDD USED: The amount of space already used.
To exit this menu item, press the menu key again.
HDD FORMAT
Here you can clear the hard disk.
To clear the hard disk:
Press “ENTER” to confirm “HDD FORMAT” and enter your password. The hard disk is automatically cleared.
To exit this menu item, press the menu key (4).

PRESS (MENU) TO EXIT
OVERWRITE: Old data is automatically overwritten by new data when the hard disk is full.
STOP: When the hard disk is full, recording stops automatically.
You now have to delete the data on the hard disk manually to make another recording.
