Thema Tremolohebel:
Das Tremolohebel-Spiel wird über die im Block
eingebaute Verstellschraube verstellt.
Diese finden Sie, wenn Sie den Tremolohebel im
eingebauten Zustand des Tremolos herunterdrücken
und der Block zum Vorschein kommt (siehe Abb.).
Die Verstellschraube befindet sich auf der Längs-
seite des Tremoloblocks in der Nähe des Hebels. Zur
Einstellung des Spiels nutzen Sie den beiliegenden
Inbusschlüssel.
Thema Reiter: Viele Gitarristinnen & Gitarrenspieler
bevorzugen ein Tremolo ohne hervorstehende
Schraubenköpfe. Die PVS-Reiter können gern mit
kurzen Schrauben bestückt werden (Lieferumfang).
Austausch der Reiter-Höhenverstellschraube: Nutzen
Sie bitte den Inbusschlüssel, aber keinen Akku-
schrauber, aufgrund des zu hohen Drehmomentes.
Da die Gewindebohrung in der Rundung des Reiters
ruht, benötigt man zum Einführen der Made ein
wenig Geduld. Im Zweifel bitte von unten einziehen.
Um seitliches Verrutschen der Reiter zu verhindern,
stellt man die äußeren Reiter gern schräg an. Dieser
Trick wirkt beim 5050-Tremolo kontraproduktiv:
ABM PVS-Reiter haben zueinander ein leichtes Spiel.
So werden Höhen- & Intonations-Einstellungen vor-
genommen, ohne den Nachbar-Reiter zu stören. Die
PVS-Reiter werden beim Spiel durch den Advanced-
String-Guide & den Saitenzug zentriert.
Die beiliegenden Reiter-
Federn niemals in die Tremolo-Arm-Öffnung des
Tremolos stecken. Diese Tuning-Maßnahme kann die
Funktion des Hebels & des Blockes zerstören.
Tips & Tricks:
Topic tremolo arm:
The tremolo arm clearance is adjusted through the
built-in block adjusting screw.
These can be located if you push down the tremolo
arm when the tremolo is installed, so that the block
comes to light. Please see the following illustration:
The adjusting screw is located on the long side of the
tremolo block near the tremolo arm socket. To adjust
the clearance, please use the enclosed Allen key.
Saddle issue: Many guitarists and guitar players
prefer a tremolo without protruding bolt heads. The
PVS saddles can alternatively be equipped with short
screws, which are included in the delivery.
Replacing the saddle height adjustment screw: Please
use the enclosed Allen key. We do not recommend a
cordless screwdriver which provides a too high
torque. Since the tapped hole rests in the curve of the
saddle, you may need patience to insert the screw. If
in doubt, please insert the screw from below.
To prevent a lateral slippage of vintage saddles, some
users adjust the outer saddles oblique. This trick is
unnecessary for the 5050 tremolo. The PVS saddles
have a small clearance to each other. So that heights
and intonation settings are made without disturbing
the neighbor saddle. Furthermore the PVS saddles are
centered while using the tremolo by the Advanced
String Guide and the string tension, normally.
Please do not insert the enclosed
saddle springs into the arm hole of the tremolo. This
tuning action can destroy the function of arm & block.
