3.1 Changing the Sequin Channel Guide
The sequin channel guide (SEE FIGURE 1.0) is responsible for keeping the sequin straight and flat as the attachment
feeds and cuts sequins onto the finished product. The guides come in various sequin channel widths and
thicknesses to accommodate different size sequins. The correct guide must be selected for each sequin or
jamming and mis-feeding will occur. Follow these steps to change the channel guide.

Step 1: Loosen but do not remove the hold down screw and the knife guide screw.
Step 2: Using two small allen keys or screw drivers, carefully prop up the finger and the spring hold down.
DO NOT
OVER-EXTEND THE SPRING HOLD DOWN OR IT WILL BREAK – USE A SMALL ALLEN KEY (1/16”) OR SCREWDRIVER.
