WARNING!
• Do not sit on or operate the scooter while it is charging.
• Store the lithium battery and charger in a dry, well-ventilated environment, away
from direct sources of heat, humidity, oil, acid, alkaline, and ozone to prevent
overheating, fire, malfunctioning or shortening of lifespan.
• Do not cover the charger with any objects.
• Use the charger in a well-ventilated area. Do not smoke near the charger and
keep away from open flames as charging the battery may produce explosive
gases.
• Use only original batteries and chargers and manage the charging time correctly
to avoid damaging the battery and scooter. Do not use any other brand charger
or connect the charger to an extension cord.
• Do not disassemble the charger, battery box or sealed parts by yourself to avoid
the risk of electric shock or liquid leakage.
• Do not damage or disassemble the battery box to avoid damaging the internal
battery.
• Never short circuit the battery.
• If the lithium battery malfunctions, smells bad, heats up, discolours, or deforms,
remove the battery and contact your dealer.
• To avoid damaging the battery and internals, do not handle roughly, throw, roll,
crush, shake, apply excessive impact, or push out the battery.
• Maintenance and repairs should only be performed by qualified technicians
or authorized dealers. If you need to replace the battery, please contact your
dealer.
Your Atheos scooter is equipped with one, maintenance free 25.2V. 30.15Ah. Rechargeable
battery and one 4A charger. The battery must be charged before using the scooter for the
first time and should be recharged after daily use. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF
position and the free-wheeling lever is not in freewheel mode.
For safety reasons IATA Packing Instructions, and IATA Provision A67 will be installed in
the scooter. If you need a new battery, contact your dealer. Only 25.2V. 30.15Ah.
Valve-regulated Lithium batteries should be used.
• Battery efficiency and life depends on how the battery is used. Improper charging and
improper equipment will shorten the battery life.
• Batteries are subject to disposal and recycling regulations that vary by country and region.
Always check and follow applicable regulations before disposing of batteries.
• We strongly recommend that the user inspects the scooter battery every six months.
