3. Settings
Below is described how to program your Control Medi for different setting options.
To enter the programming mode, you should first press the
Level button

and then simultaneously
press the button
X
for 2 seconds for your desired setting option (see below). When you release the
buttons a “Setting” alert is heard, and the indication lamp on the button for the setting option flashes.
An “Error” alert will sound if you select an invalid setting option.

This is followed by different button presses depending on what is to be set, see the separate
descriptions below.
It is important not to wait too long between the different steps when programming. After a certain
time your Control Medi automatically leaves the programming mode to save power.
If your programming is successful, a “Success” alert will sound. If something has gone wrong or
takes too long, an “Error” alert will sound.
3.1 Alerts when programming
Whilst you are programming, your Control Medi gives feedback with flashes and different alerts:
“Setting” - (three increasing tones).
“Success” - (three positive tones).
“Error” -
(eight negative tones).
3.2 Cancel Programming
To cancel the programming, you can press the
Level
button
---
and keep it pressed for two seconds.
It works as a Reset button.
3.3 Levels in Control Medi Standard
Your Control Medi Standard has totally four levels with seven programmable buttons. On delivery
the buttons are factory-programmed with GewaLink channels 16-39 on level 1-4, see Table 1 . You
can freely use one, several or all four levels. Four indication lights indicate the current level (see
Fig
1 ).
Your Control Medi Standard is delivered with only level 1 open, other levels are closed. To open
further levels, see section Opening/closing a level.
When only one level is open, the
Level
button

automatically contains one channel which is
always is the first channel on the next level. In this way, it is possible to control eight functions even
if only one level is open. See

.
When several levels are active you can change to another level by pressing the
Level button
---
. Each time you press the button the next level is chosen.
