9.4 Changing the filter
1 Switch off the power to the fume extraction system.
2 Clean the W3 filter cartridge before changing the filter and empty the filter housing.


9.4.1 Replacing the protective underlay
1 Disconnect the air supply once the FEC W3 cleaning process is complete.
2 Unlock the latch (3) at the filter housing (1) .
3 Tip the filter housing (1) forward.
4 Lay the protective underlay (4) (from the package of new W3 filter cartridges) on the extraction system for protection.
CAUTION
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Personal protective equipment consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
• Personal protective equipment must be worn when in the vicinity of the dust collecting bag as it is being filled with the
separated dust.
NOTICE
• The filter must be changed if, after multiple dedustings, the "Dirty" LED is still illuminated and no other error has
occurred.
